The closed fashion show of the "Most Beloved" clothing collection by designers from the Globus Fashion Ukraine project for V.I.P. became the final event of Kharkov Fashion Days 2015.
The spacious roof of the AVE PLAZA shopping center, located in the business center of Ukraine's first capital, served as the venue for this unique fashion show.
Fashion designer Margarita Kozak presented a capsule clothing collection consisting of five models, named "Polissya". The collection included fashionable looks styled after traditional Ukrainian embroidered dresses.
Handmade crochet blouses harmoniously complemented fashionable skirts with inverted pleats. According to the designer, a lush long floor-length skirt made of beautiful jacquard fabric is the optimal solution for a folk-style look. Margarita Kozak suggested pairing such a skirt with chiffon blouses featuring embroidery. However, the highlight of the "Polesie" collection was a Ukrainian-style wedding dress adorned with red poppies and beads.
The show took place as part of the National Tour of Ukrainian Designers. Prior to this, the fashion shows of the "Most Beloved" women's clothing collection had already taken place in Kyiv, Odessa and Dnipro. The main event of this unique project was the showcase in New York during New York Fashion Week.
In the near future, a showroom for Ukrainian designers will open in the AVE PLAZA shopping center, where it will be possible to purchase the dresses presented in the show from the Globus Fashion Ukraine project.
