2002 BIRDS OF THE GARDEN OF EDEN
The art collection of Margarita Kozak haute couture "Birds of the Garden of Eden" is a magical fairy tale told by the designer in the language of fashion.
The king of birds, the Eagle, searches in vain for his love among the beautiful birds of the Garden of Eden, and just when he begins to lose hope, he finds the magnificent Firebird. The collection is deeply imbued with the theme of flight, thanks to the use of translucent, airy chiffon as the base material. The most striking stylistic feature of the collection is the incorporation of crochet feathers, created using Margarita Kozak's unique technique.
The collection "Birds of the Garden of Eden" has won the following awards:
- First place in the All-Ukrainian competition of young fashion designers "New Look 2003" (Dnipropetrovsk).
- First place in the "Creative" category at the Second International Festival of Fashion and Theatre Costume named after Varvara Karinskaya (Kharkiv, 2005). Special prize from the fashion historian and critic Alexander Vasiliev (Paris).
